It was a classic fall day in Charlottesville: a sunny sky, a fresh breeze, and a crowd of happy volunteers working hard to keep good stuff out of the landfill.
On October 22, more than 70 volunteers gathered at IX Art Park for the third Cville TimeBank Repair Café. We evaluated and repaired over 250 items – from lamps and vacuums to pants, umbrellas, teapots, bedspreads, bikes, and a whole lot more!
