It’s GREEN to Fix Things: Repair Café March 17 at The Habitat Store

It’s the Repairin’ of the Green! Actually, we’ll fix any color of broken stuff, if we can, for free—at the next community-wide Repair Café on March 17 at the Habitat Store. Bring us your chairs, lamps, bikes, clothing, toasters, fans and other broken and torn stuff and let our trusty volunteer fixers take a stab at saving them. It’s green to fix things—so this St. Paddy’s day, follow the rainbow to the Habitat Store on Harris Street. Fixing instead of tossing can save a pot of gold—and help save the earth.

Bring up to 3 items. You can sit down and watch, ask questions, and even help fix things. Kids of all ages can visit the Take-Apart Table to work with tools and see what’s inside our stuff. And while you’re at the Habitat Store, plan to shop their amazing selection of home goods. All profits go toward building more affordable housing in our area.

Cville TimeBank Repair Café is a totally free community event, open to everyone. Tell your friends!
